The 5th annual Big Sandy CBC was held on December 16th. This was the best
year yet with a preliminary total of 115 species, not all the info is in
yet. Some of the highlights were Osprey, 2 Golden Eagles, Merlin,
Peregrine,(count week) Pacific and Red-throated Loon, Sedge, Marsh, and
House Wrens, Leconte’s and Lincoln’s Sparrows, and multiple Red-breasted
Nuthatches and Common Merganser.
