I spent a few hours birding Bells Bend this morning, highlights were: Sedge wren -2, both almost completely silent, made me wonder just how many there might be out there!Northern Harrier -1 female flyoverPalm warbler -a few dozen, I've never seen so many.Swamp sparrow - ~10, FOS for meSavannah sparrow- 25+, also a person high number (and FOS) for Bells. I attribute this to the habitat changes made there, we'll see if they stick all winter.Yellow-rumped warblers -there were a few in each hackberry tree in the parking lot as I drove away. Good birding, Ed SchneiderDavidson Co.
