Bells Bend Park, Davidson Co.
Went to Bells after work this afternoon around 4:00, and lucked up on a
Clay-colored Sparrow at the pond behind the nature center. I watched it for
roughly 10 minutes as it flew back and forth across the pond a couple of times.
It finally settled down in some tall grass at the NW corner of the pond. Not
wishing to flush it I left it alone; hopefully it sticks around for others.
