Bells Bend -- Old Hickory Blvd
Davidson Co., TN
2018 May 18

I first spent Friday morning checking Shelby Park and Bottoms for
Mourning and Connecticut Warblers but heard and saw NONE. I then
went to Bells Bend and found 3 BOBOLINKs, 2 males and a female
who were feeding on the tall grass just past the orange cone.
However, after being seen for perhaps 6-8 minutes, they dropped
down into the dip behind that grass and vanished from view.
