06/07/07 I have discovered that a Barred Owl lives down the street fromme at Cameron Brown Park. I have seen him two evenings in a row. He hasbeen out around 7:30pm. He is located near the Park Utility building Eastof the lake. I was told several years ago by the Park Rangers that an owl lived there but never have I seen him until Tuesday. I got a great look right into his face the first time!! It was as if he was sighting me with his binocular eyes! He flies into the wooded area that has a raised wooden walkway that leads through that area of woods between the parking lot and thefar football fields.
