An update from my parents who live near Jefferson City, TN, on
the Barn Owls that live in the neighbors' silo. Wednesday night
(24 July 2002), there were 4 little squawking youngsters on the
silo. Unfortunately, one of them was found on the ground the
next morning with injuries around its beak. They were able to
get in touch with Pete Wyatt from TWRA to get the name of a local
rehabilitator but, unfortunately, the bird died before anything
could be done.
