April 5, 2006 Greene County-- Greeneville; Lick Creek Bottoms Wildlife Management Area property at intersection of Highway 348, North Mohawk Road, and South Mohawk Road (LCBWMA-348/MR) I had very little birding time today but found a few notables nonetheless: American Woodcock (displaying at LCBWMA-348/MR); Barn Owl (adjacent to LCBWMA-348/MR, in a building on private property; the property owner suspects nesting); Fox Sparrow (Greeneville; this is the only April record I have for FOSP in Greene County since 1994); Purple Finch (Greeneville).
