Reelfoot Lake Feb. 2, 22008 I accompanied Boyscout Troop 86 from Memphis Tn to Reelfoot Lake yesterday for the Eagle Tour. The troop counted 22 Eagles on the two hour tour with the Park Rangers and then I saw another 6 Eagles while I birded for another hour. Hopefully the trip will net some new birders as the boys and their dads had and ideal trip with clear skies and many different birds. I especially enjoyed the thousands of snow geese that covered the skies as they flew. It has been several years since I have been to Reelfoot and now I plan on going more often!!
