[TN-Bird] An early bird?

Having heard about overwintering Painted Bunting in Nova Scotia, Bluebirds in
Ann Arbor Michigan and now Redpolls in Tennessee, I know birds do not read
the books. However, I was surprised this morning while sitting on my deck from
6.30 to 9 AM to hear the distinct call of a Yellow-billed Cuckoo. It only
happened once. I rather doubt my resident Thrasher was to blame, but I would
like
to know if anyone else has heard/seen an overwintering Cuckoo or a very early
arrival. Is global warming accelerating? Ralph Brinkhurst, Lebanon, Wilson Co.
