Old Hickory Blvd
Bells Bend, Davidson Co., TN
2015 April 14
3:15-3:40 pm

Went to Bells Bend to look for the plover reported by Jim Arnett earlier
in the afternoon. Instead of 1, I found 2 basic plumaged AM. GOLDEN
PLOVERs in the main sod field in front of the wheeled irrigation pipes.

A check of the same area about 7 am in the morning produced 21 SOLITARY
SANDPIPERs, the most I've seen there. Also present were 2 GREATER and
6 LESSER YELLOWLEGs plus a lone SEMIPALMATED SANDPIPER.
