On Saturday, May 5. Clyde Blum, Gary Brunvoll, myself and another birder spent about 5.5 hours birding Reflection Riding and the Chattanooga Nature Center in Hamilton Co. and totaled 84 species! Highlights include.... 21 species of warblers Blackburnian Warbler Canada Warbler (very good looks) Both Waterthrushes Cerulean Warbler 8 Baltimore Orioles in 1 tree at the same time! 5 species of swallows 5 species of woodpeckers Summer and Scarlet Tanagers Blue and Rose-breasted Grosbeaks 5 species of thrushes ....and many more.
