I don’t know why you didn’t ask him these questions when he was in the board
meeting for two hours?  It’s why he came.

I am desperate to get active board members.  At the moment:

*       Robin is putting all his effort into the finances
*       Catherine is full-time busy working
*       Barbara is full-time busy working
*       Nick is full-time busy working

So, the day-to-day work of the board all falls to me.

We need people who can be board members other than for four-hours a month, who
have read the agenda and are proactive in doing things.

I’m not criticising anyone’s commitment to the project or saying people aren’t
pulling their weight – you all need to work to feed and house yourselves; so
yes, I know everyone else has other commitments but at the moment it feels like
a one-person-band so we must get more people involved, it’s unsustainable as it
is.

not completely happy with this

whilst he is clearly an affable bloke with some skills in the arts and PR
department, i wouldnt want us to set a precident that we co opt board members
without knowing if they understand and subscribe to our aims.
