Description: PostModern Company is seeking a Data and Asset Manager
Specialist to join an ongoing contract with the National Science Foundation’s
(NSF) Office of Legislative and Public Affairs. This role is instrumental in
archiving multimedia (i.e. still images, videos, and animations) along with
permissions for use in various outreach deliverables such as brochures,
PowerPoints and the nsf.gov website.
Responsibilities include importing multimedia, permission forms and
accompanying files to the digital asset manager (DAM); following guidelines
for directory infrastructure; associating assets as needed; and adding
metadata.
Required Skills/requirements:
* Highly detail-oriented professional with a critical degree of accuracy
regarding data entry
* Exceptional organization, multi-tasking and time management skills
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
This position is for a part-time, on-site subcontractor. Temporary until
September 30, 2017.

Description: PostModern Company is seeking a Multimedia Researcher /
Digital Asset Manager Specialist to join an ongoing contract with the
National Science Foundation’s (NSF) Office of Legislative and Public Affairs.
Responsibilities include finding multimedia (i.e. still images, videos, and
animations) for various NSF projects, including those for the NSF director;
obtaining permission for NSF to use multimedia; providing caption and credit
information; archiving multimedia; advising on copyright questions; replying
to outside requests for multimedia; and captioning online PowerPoints to make
them accessible to people with disabilities (Section 508).

Required Skills/requirements:
Attention to detail and excellent organizational skills are essential, as are
the ability to multitask and work efficiently under deadlines. Also important
are good oral and written communication skills and good judgment selecting
multimedia. The ideal candidate is an experienced and creative multimedia
professional who is a team player with a positive attitude and a sense of
humor. An interest in science is a plus.
Technical skills: Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint; Adobe Photoshop
experience preferred but not required.
This position is for a full-time, on-site subcontractor.
