Like others, I'm saddened to learn this news. I did not know Dale as well as
many of you TLB regulars did, but I valued his company, his wit, and his
good counsel.

Subject: DALE MACKENZIE BROWN
Dear Family & Friends;
It is with great sadness that we have to inform you of
Dale M. Brown's death on April 12 at Mount Vernon Hospital in Alexandria, VA.
Dale was 84 years old. Dale fell 3 weeks ago at home and broke his inner
pelvis. One thing led to another in the hospital and he developed pneumonia.
He was transferred to intensive care and put on a respirator and a feeding
tube. Dale did not respond and was taken off the respirator on April 12th.
Dale's body will be cremated. A "Celebration of his Life" will be held in
the near future. His ashes will be buried in the graveyard near his beloved
Farm in Upstate Ny this summer. We already miss him deeply.
