Subject: [tinwhiskers] Code 562 NASA Honor Award Congratulations (Jay
Brusse)
Importance: High

Colleagues,

Many of you know that Jay Bruss, Perot Systems at NASA Goddard Space
Flight Center, is the person who created and maintains the website on
tin whiskers that we reference in our work.

http://nepp.nasa.gov/WHISKER/

Well, the news is just in --- Jay has been recognized with one of the
very few 2008 NASA Honor Awards for Exceptional Engineering Achievement.

This is an agency level award. Jay was selected for his exceptional
achievement in preventing electrical hazards posed by metal whiskers to
electrical components, and disseminating information via a world class
website.

Congratulations to Jay for receiving the 2008 NASA Honor Award Medal for
Exceptional Engineering Achievement and, more importantly for creating
this one stop shopping place for information on metal whiskering.
