Well its very frustrating to have it on the taskbar when alt tabbing around.
Therefore i stopped using itand ofcourse it has no braille support which to
me is very important.
Though all other accessible programs such as the podcatcher and pdf reader
are very very good.

There are many things we could do for thunder including making it a dummy
JAWS, Dolphin or NVDA but we actually choose to keep it as simple as
possible and limit choices and options. This of course does not suit
everyone.

Regarding the Control Panel, I need to understand what advantages there
would be if it could be hidden in the System Tray. Is not Alt Tab or Windows
+ D enough? And I do take the point re the difference between hiding and
focusing exept that the result and function is the same, is it not?

Put me right if I am wrong.

Re: Thunder and Uac.

You do not hide an application with

Winkey+d

this key combo is a toggle that switches focus between the currently
focused application and the desktop.

I personally prefer to keep my screenreader window in the taskbar and
accessible with alt+tab but can see why people prefer to put it away
into the system tray if they have a lot of applications open.

Wy can't the thunder control panel be optionally put into the system
tray, leaving it up to the user to decide where they want to put it?

thanks much.
