Try this registry hack from faq item
http://www.thethin.net/faqs2.cfm?id=125&category=2

Enable AutoEnd Tasks. If you get a WOWEXEC error when shutting down or
executing a program this edit is for you. This parameter tells any task that
will not respond to the shutdown notice to end.

"HKEY_USER\.DEFAULT\Control Panel\Desktop"
Add Value: AutoEndTasks REG_SZ: 1

An additional value: WaitToKillAppTimeout REG_SZ: 20000
The default of 20000 milliseconds (20 Seconds) can be increased if the user
process does not end by this time, AutoEndsTasks is executed.

Subject: [THIN] wowexec error

Hi,
I have problems with all anonymous published 16-bit applications
Everytime I start a 16bit application anonymously I get following error:
"WOWEXEC has occurred a general protection fault in module KRNL386.EXE
on 0003:0557"
I'm having this issue on both windows 2003 servers with Citrix Metaframe
FR3.
I installed last hotfix XE103W2K3006 but do not see any difference.
Anybody has an idea?
Thanks,
Piet
