Not to be nosey but isn't it generally the other way around. Now it
points to a driver letter but we are trying to get the app to use a UNC
path., Are you running backwards over there?

Just curious as to if there is a benefit you are deriving from this.

i am trying to map a drive but i don't want my users to be to see or use
this drive this is basically for an application. the application
currently points to a UNC path on a file server i want to set it up to
point to a Drive letter.
