Why not have 2 web services sites? One for desktops, one for remote users.
Desktops remote site has start menu integration turned off? (also allows
you to tweak timeout values et al for internal/external resources)

*Subject:* [THIN] physical v published desktop - start menu duplication

Hi,

In process of redesigning all Physical Desktop GPO structure to match up
with new XenApp GPO structure and give user a better experience weather
they are at a Desktop PC running local installed apps or they are remotely
working on a published desktop.

I am using UPM for the XenApp profiles and roaming profiles for the W7
machines.

Question is based around the start menu, as I will be installing Office
locally on the W7 pc’s and most other applications will be published from
XenApp.

When users are connecting remotely they need to use the published copy of
office.

How do I not have two Office icons in each desktop ?

Thanks

Ronnie
