Issue

Explaining the Application Set enumeration precedence in Start menu and
Desktop:

Program Neighborhood Agent Administration versus Citrix Management Console

Explanation

Typically, choosing which management node takes precedence over the other
can be defined from the settings pages that pertain to Desktop and Start
Menu behaviors.

Using the Program Neighborhood Agent Administration Start menu settings page
as an example:

? The first defines precedence for the Management Console:

?Use only MetaFrame XP Management Console Settings if the published resource
has Start menu placement settings.?

? The second defines precedence for Program Neighborhood Agent Admin tool:

?Ignore MetaFrame XP Management Console Settings.?

? However, the question of precedence is raised because of the third option
available:

?Use both Program Neighborhood Agent and MetaFrame XP Management Console
settings.?

When you select the third option, the management node that takes precedence
is truly both sets of settings. If an application is defined to go to the
Start menu by the Program Neighborhood Agent Administration Web site and
also by the Management Console, but is set in the two management nodes to
appear in different places, the application appears in both places on the
client device
