We are currently looking at upgrading our Citrix servers, currently on Presentation Server 4 (I know, we shouldn't be using it), to XenApp 4.5, or if our apps get upgraded to support it, to XenApp 6 running on 2008R2. I've been asked about running it in a VM on Hyper-V. The main apps run are IE, and Office (currently 2003, moving to 2007). We generally run about 30-40 users logged in on a heavy day, but during the winter can get up to about 70. Can XenApp be successfully virtualized with reasonable performance? Also trying to figure out what resources it would need, though I can't see it needing less than 4gb RAM and 2 CPUs. Any insight would be appreciated.NOTICE: This electronic mail transmission from the law firm of Dinsmore & Shohl may constitute an attorney-client communication that is privileged at law.
