[THIN] XP SP2 breaks Java client?

We're running Nfuse 1.7, and clients with XP SP2 are unable to launch
the Java client.
The clients display the following message in the console:
load: class com.citrix.JICA not found.
java.lang.ClassNotFoundException: com.citrix.JICA

..we're hoping to get things upgraded soon, but were wondering if
anyone out there has seen this before, and had suggestions to get by in
the meantime...
