Other things to try:

1. You can ping the TS License server from the Terminal Server
itself.
2. Ping with a packet size of 1472. eg: ping -l 1472 -f
xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx
3. Give Everyone Full Control on
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\MSLicensing\Store\LICENSE00x

Jim,

Have you tried connecting with RDP to see if it is Terminal Services
that is having the problem or Metaframe?

I am having problems with XP clients connecting to a 2K MF 1.8 Farm

It is issuing event 1004 but I have already applied SP3 for 2K and 1.8.

Should I try sp4?

Any issues with SP4?

Anyone else having this problem?

If I lived back in the wild west days, instead of carrying a six-gun in
my holster, I'd carry a soldering iron. That way, if some smart-aleck
cowboy said something like "Hey, look. He's carrying a soldering iron!"
and started laughing, and everybody else started laughing, I could just
say, "That's right, it's a soldering iron. The soldering iron of
justice." Then everybody would get real quiet and ashamed, because they
had made fun of the soldering iron of justice, and I could probably hit
them up for a free drink.
