In testing Mcafee Version 7, it appears to play much nicer with Citrix.

Subject: [THIN] Windows XP slow logon FIXED

Just as an FYI,

It turned out that the Problem with the Citrix Client running slow on our
Windows XP machines was the Antivirus program(F-PROT Command Antivirus). We
had to exclude the Citrix folder from being constantly monitored on all of
our machines in order to speed up the initialization of the Citrix client.
Thanks to all of the folks on the list that suggested that we look at the
antivirus program. This was about to be disastrous considering the amount
of XP machines we plan to roll out. Just wanted to say that this list has
been an invaluable source of info to me for the last 2 years. Thanks
everyone.
