Using WMI StdRegProv you can write a Binary value from an Array. Using the shell object, you can write a Binary value from an Integer. -----Original Message----- From: thin-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx [mailto:thin-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx] On Behalf Of BRUTON, Malcolm, FM Sent: Thursday, April 14, 2005 1:08 AM To: 'thin@xxxxxxxxxxxxx' Subject: [THIN] Re: VBScripts I don't believe there is an MS way of writing Binary values using regwrite. You need to rely on 3rd party DLL I believe. What happens if you try and import a reg file? Users *must* have the *right* to be able to update HKCU, because not everything will be done by proxy, so I'm wondering if it's the mechanism, rather than the overall thing.
