Jim, I read your blog entry and was surprised- I don't agree at all. I think the virtual desktop is here today and great. Citrix publishing a desktop works great- why don't you think so? Also, VMWare is pretty close, the missing piece is ICA. I have always said that Citrix should enable ICA for workstations so you can add individual PC's to the farm. If you extend that to VMWare sessions then it could truly be all virtual- shared sessions on servers, or, "real" PC's with your own desktop via ICA... Steve Greenberg Thin Client Computing 34522 N.
