I use 1.5 and never had an issue. If you want to see some of the
changes, Thomas Kotzing has a version history, though the most recent
version from Microsoft is 1.5e. The different versions of 1.5 came out
relatively fast and furious for a while, but it's been quiet since
around April last year. Works great here.

Just doing a bit of housekeeping and found that we're running UPHClean
1.2.7 - latest from MS is 1.5 :

Anybody any issues with 1.5? I'm generally a 'if it ain't broke don't
fix it person' but I'm keen to go with the latest for this invaluable
