Did that. I verified that my DNS is setup for ICA and the server name. If
it was a resolving issue, I would expect the regular PCs running the ICA
client to be similarly affected.

Hi,

The thin clients will still try to get an ICA browse list, either by UDP
broadcast or DNS lookup, before they connect. Try defining a server address
list, or creating a DNS entry, ica.

Subject: [THIN] Thin client devices take a long time to find server

Has anyone had this experience.  Our thin client devices (NCD and Evo) take
a long time to find and/or connect to the farm (single server).  I have
hard coded the ip address of the server into the client config and I have
hard coded the device IP (no DHCP) and it still takes a long time.  I've
checked the network and our network guys see no problems in Sniffer or
Spectrum.  What makes it really strange is that if I run the ICA client
from my regular PC, it has no trouble and as soon as it connects, the Thin
clients connect.  Any ideas?
