If you want the XML service and IIS to both use port 80 see

checked and checked again, no sign of nimda.

Have found that the www publishing service will restart if I stop the
citrix XML service. unregistered and registerd the service again. have
even re-installed IIS 5 with no joy.

Both NFUSE and Citrix are running on the same server now, xml is using
port 1024

Ooooh that sounds like the Nimda worm behavior. Are you sure that you
have
all of the latest patches on that IIS server?

the program neighbourhood service is running fine and I can connect
though it without problems.

It just seems to be when I connect via nfuse.

Another thing that I have noticed, when it fails to connect I then am
unable to access the NFUSE login page at all and the www publishing
service on the IIS server will not restart.

only way to get back to square one is to reboot the server.

all ideas appreciated
