The common denominator seems to be printing. This will sound like an
advertisement, but it isn't .. It's just how I avoid all these kinds of
problems: I don't use Citrix printing!! We went with Simplify Printing
(formerly Screwdrivers) from Tricerat (www.tricerat.com). It has worked
so well for us. Easily worth the $$ we paid in reduced tension among
users and admins both! =20
I know that's not a direct answer to your questions .. I wish I could
help you with them. Sadly, even after you get THESE issues figured out,
everyone who uses Citrix printing are haunted by the thought that
tomorrow, somebody is going to load the wrong print driver, or mgmt. is
going to mandate use of some weird device that is nothing but headaches
on Terminal Server, etc. I just decided to quit living with the fear! :)
