Kaspersky is fairly effective. Hunt around the web and you'll find comparative reviews of AV engines, Kaspersky is up there. We use it a complimentary to other AV engines though, such as McAfee. This is more for political than technical reasons - if a new virus sneaks through, it's easier to convince MDs that McAfee or Norton (Which he's vaguely heard of) have failed to catch it, rather than some company he's never heard of (Which makes it *my* fault).
