Hey List,

The one thing I've never had a lot of success with under Windows 2003 is
knowing which registry keys to set so that all users get the same explorer
view each time they log in. ie. Details, Open each folder in same Window,
etc.

I had this covered off under 2000, but Microsoft changed the way this works
for 2003 (and XP).

Has anyone got this working?

I know I can probably do this in the Default profile, but we don't do it
this way. I'd prefer to set it in an ADM template or a login script so that
they get these settings via a group policy everytime they log in.

The manual steps to change it are:
1. With the My Documents folder selected, change the view to Details
2. Select Tools -> Folder Options
3. In the General Tab, select the option Open each folder in the same
Window
4. In the View Tab, untick the option Remember each Folders Settings
5. Click on the button Apply to all folders
6. Click on OK.

Cheers.

 Kind regards,
