I used to use it on all of our 2K MF1.8 boxes with seemingly no
problems. Of course, you need to have the cosole logged in to have the
Sophos monitor running. The BIG problem I had was after some time and
some requests to verify our virus scanning, I decided to run housecall
from Trend (free web site http://housecall.antivirus.com) and found that
Sophos had missed many viruses for over 3 years on several of our
servers. I am sure that it was updated fully (which is hard to
automate) and that it was running properly on our file servers, client
pcs and the terminal servers, but many viruses still got through!
Anyway, I dropped our contract with Sophos and bought Trend
ServerProtect and haven't looked back. Sophos seems to run fine on a
TS, but apparently is not so great. Also, I read some reviews in PC
Magazine and they too found that Sophos missed detecting several
viruses. Another bad thing about Sophos is that the updating procedure
is archaic. By default, it is not automated, and to get it automated is
a series of scheduled tasks, command line ftping and batch files. With
Trend (and Norton for that matter), you just set it up in the GUI and it
works!

Hope that helps. I was subjected to Sophos for several years when I
began my current job, and the contract only recently ran out. I am so
happy to not have to worry about virus updating and problems anymore!
If you have the option, I recommend highly against Sophos (and so does
PC Magazine). On top of that, I believe Trend is the only AV product
specifically approved for Tses by Citrix.

Good luck,
