The answer was there, if passtrough is enabled on the Citrix Program
Neighborhood Client on the PS4 server, all logons happens synchronously.

        Theres a group policy item (Computer [and User]
Configuration\Administrative Templates\System\Scripts) which allows you
to set whether or not the scripts are run synchronously.
