I had trouble as well until I defined IP ranges. It's a bit of a pain to
setup but gets there in the end.

I had the same problems when i was scanning subnets.
When i defined IP ranges instead, no problems.

That was an ok solouting for me, since i have only 30+ subnets.

I recently set up a Rapport server to manage the many
Wyse thin clients that we have.

I have been trying to get Rapport to scan each of our
remote branches to discover the thin clients across
our frame relay lines. However, I am running into
trouble getting Rapport to find devices at branches
that use the Cisco 2900 series switches.

I'll admit that I'm not much of a switch guy, but is
there something I need to configure on the switch that
will allow the search to find the thin clients at the
branches?

Thanks in advance,

Michael Saul
