I had trouble as well until I defined IP ranges. It's a bit of a pain to setup but gets there in the end. -----Original Message----- From: Svein Arild Haugum [mailto:svein@xxxxxxxxxxxxxx] Sent: 08 October 2003 14:53 To: thin@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Subject: [THIN] SV: Rapport and Cisco Switches I had the same problems when i was scanning subnets. When i defined IP ranges instead, no problems. That was an ok solouting for me, since i have only 30+ subnets. Mvh Svein Arild -----Opprinnelig melding----- Fra: Michael [mailto:indy019@xxxxxxxxx] Sendt: 7. oktober 2003 21:36 Til: thin@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Emne: [THIN] Rapport and Cisco Switches I recently set up a Rapport server to manage the many Wyse thin clients that we have. I have been trying to get Rapport to scan each of our remote branches to discover the thin clients across our frame relay lines. However, I am running into trouble getting Rapport to find devices at branches that use the Cisco 2900 series switches. I'll admit that I'm not much of a switch guy, but is there something I need to configure on the switch that will allow the search to find the thin clients at the branches?
