I tried that but does not work from within a published app.

Can you just create a shortcut and then in the properties of the
shortcut enter a shortcut key to launch the app?

From within a published application I need to be able to set the default
printer. I know there is a small utility that allows you to set the
default printer but I have no way of launching it from within my
published app. Does anyone know of a small program that will run in
memory and listen for a key (eg F10 or ctrl D or any key combo) to then
run this default printer application?
