Try putting "Authenticated users" or explicit credentials in the local machine's administrators or power users group. Sounds like the login doesn't have rights to write to the registry. We are entering explicit credentials. I am also wondering about licensing, although I find nothing in the server logs. The MSLICENSING key in the registry is empty, which does not seem right. >>> jmoock@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx 10/25/2007 11:09 AM >>> Is it doing any type of pass-through authentication, or are you explicitly entering your credentials? I also seem to recall that licensing issues could produce misleading errors like these. Checking the event log on the problem server would reveal whether this is the case or not. -----Original Message----- From: thin-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx [mailto:thin-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx] On Behalf Of Chad Schneider (IT) Sent: Thursday, October 25, 2007 12:06 PM To: thin@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Subject: [THIN] Riddle me this... 2 thin clients... Both connecting to a single published desktop/single server. From one, my credentials sign on fine. From the other, I get the message To connect to this remote computer, l you must be a member of the Remote Desktop Users group. Domain\domain users, is in the group. It also works fine from my PC and from another laptop. How can this only occur on a single thin client device. Should not be determined by the client.
