Hi,

Use secedit to profile a server and make custom security template and then
apply the custom template (ntfs and registry permissions etc) to your other
servers.

Regards,

Rick

Subject: [THIN] Replicating ntfs permissions

Hi all,

I want to clamp down on the security on our servers and apply ntfs group
permissions on various folders on the servers. This part is fine, however we
have around 100 servers so I don't fancy doing this on everyone of them. Is
there any utility that I can record the ntfs changes I make on one system
and then just run those changes on all the others?

I'm sure this could be done using scripts however I'm looking for the easy
way out.......

Suggestions appreciated
Thanks,
T
