Has your programmer enabled drives under local devices and resources? Also how big are the files He is trying to copy between the Citrix server and local workstation? If they are big files then FTP may still be his best option. Under display he can change the size of the remote desktop. Also, under experience he can choose connection speed to optimize performance. All - First time having to need to setup citrix access to an outside consultant/programmer. I've given him access to RDP so he can access the 3 servers he needs access to, however he is complaining that he is having difficulty transferring files from his workstation to the server via RDP ( transfers are slow and unreliable and it isn't easy to initiate the file transfer) And the screen size is too small. What do you other folks do to make file transfer easier between workstation and server using RDP ? is there an alternative method ? Better yet, how do you all handle outside contracter access to servers via Citrix ? Thanks,
