Normally you have got something in the published app. Such as path to the exe or the start in path or the like. If the problem persists, contact your administrator." when Connecting to a Published Application Obviously there is an article on the Citrix site for this but it applies to older version of Metaframe/PS and we are running PS 4.0 on 2003 servers. Also, the resolution for this article was to check a reg key and make sure that CMSTART.EXE was in the HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Windows NT\Current Version\Winlogon\AppSetup and it is. So I'm not sure what's causing it to fail. Other apps in the farm and on the same server work fine. Has anyone else encountered this particular error before?
