We are running an access program on a quad processor machine and we are
setting up a duel with 1.2g processors. Amazingly the duel is faster, my
thoughts are that because Access is not a multi-processor program it
utilizes only one at a time. Go 1.2g

I would say it is almost a toss up, but probably the quad.

I have a couple of apps that we run. One is an Access front end
and the other a cutom VB app. Bith seem to be fairly processor
intensive. I have 2 servers I can run on - one is a dual processor
1.266 MHZ Proliant DL360 and the other a quad proc 700
DL580. What are thoughts on who would handle these
apps best - the 2 faster or the 4 slower procs? Win2k
SP2 Citrix MF 1.8, about 30 users. 3 gig RAM
