Hi Timmy,

Even for admins?

You're far better off giving each user their own copy, preferably not in the
default location under %userprofile%.

Regards,

Rick

Subject: [THIN] Problem with XP Word

Hi all, just a quick question.

We have XPe with no feature release and a repository for templates. W2k
Active directory does the redirection in Office for the templates folder.

The problem is that normal.dot gets corrupted every 2 or 3 days. We replace
normal.dot and all is ok for a while. The file has read and execute
permissions only.

Has anyone else had this issue.

Thanx
Timmy
