On a negative not, GFI's Patch Managament in it's Security Scanner is,
IME, a fair pile of droppings, inasmuch as it identifies pathces that it
says are needed, then makes it imposssible to download them and/or
install them.

PS I'm A GFI reseller, and the rest of this product and their range are
great, but not the pacth management.

PPS I've used Scriptlogic with some success in a crisis, but you have to
quite a lot of manual stuff. SUS is the best I've used day-to-day.

Also worth mentioning the SUS feature pack for SMS2003, which is a
better idea for larger setups.=3D20

Hi there all,

I was wondering what tools folks use for OS and Application patch
management, within your Metaframe farm and generally throughout your
network.=3D3D3D20

I'm researching a few different solutions including IBM Orchestrator,
BigFix, Dameware, ScriptLogic and some others and was interested in some
real world experiences with these or any other suitable tools.

Thanks
