The license server is: CTX_MF_LICENSE_SERVER_NAME="servername" Personally, I have not had much success in creating a transform file.. Some options work, while others don't. I've had a lot of success just including the parameter on the command line instead. The ctx_mf_silent_dsnfile is the mf20.dsn file used to connect to the datastore. You can take it from an existing server and remove the WSID= entry. I am trying to follow the admin guide and running into some problems. It was suggested that I try to build my own mst with AdminStudio6. I tried using tuner and creating a response transform. Testing it something is going wrong. I want to push it out without anyone being logged on at some point but for now I am running it while I am logged on. When I run it it looks like it is installing (if I don't put anything but -qr on the command line with the "msiexec /i mps.msi transform=test.mst /qr) When the box reboots it can't find the citrix license server. I checked the registry and it has nothing for the license server entry. So then I thought I would try the provided entries. So I have some questions before I can continue. What are these: ctx_mf_client_cd_path=\\fileserver\image ctx_mf_launch_client_cd_wizard=yes (I think I want this to no) ctx_mf_slient_dsnfile=\\fileserver\image\testsql.dsn if this is going to be a nightmare maybe I should try the unattended install text file instead? is one easier than the other? Benefits? Thanks as usual. _______________________________________________ Doug Stratton CITS Technology Development Analyst Work: 250-356-6678 doug.m.stratton@xxxxxxxxx _______________________________________________
