OK, time to get my futurist nerd hat out here..

The RAVE technology will be used to redirect streaming content from the
server to the ICA client. (MP3's, Flash, AVI's.. basically anything that
requires a codec.) What Jim is talking about is actually part of the new
speedscreen technology. Basically, the new stuff coming out in 3.0 will
allow you to choose lossy compression instead of the pure lossless
compression. (I'll be posting a full article with in-depth technical
information about the new features on Thursday.)

No...improved audio/video (the RAVE technology) is a future add on to MF.
These types of users need a local version of PPT installed. Unfortunately
the 
Thin client model doesn't work for every type of user....yet.
