Hi Berny,

You need to use sysocmgr.exe. Place the following into a batch (.cmd)
file...

Cheers,

Jeremy.

Echo Adding the Windows Management Instrumentation (WMI) Windows
installer provider...

echo [Components]>"%TEMP%\COMPlus.txt"

echo WbemMSI = On>>"%TEMP%\COMPlus.txt"

start "Installing" /wait sysocmgr.exe /i:%SystemRoot%\inf\sysoc.inf
/u:"%TEMP%\COMPlus.txt" /c /q /r

del /q "%TEMP%\COMPlus.txt"

Subject: [THIN] Off topic - WMI Windows installer provider

Hi all,

Just wondering if someone has a package for "WMI Windows installer
provider". It can be installed from the CD, but I am wondering if
someone has a self contained package for it. (Or knows where to get one)

Berny
