[THIN] OT: line spacing in outlook signatures

Hi all,
Our organization would like to use 1.2 line spacing in our signatures.
What's really odd is that if I'm composing, replying, or forwarding
messages then the signature opens in Word and looks great. But, if I
receive a message or open one from my sent items then line spacing is
single. So, it works in Word but not in Outlook. Is there something
simple I'm overlooking?
