Hi list,

Long time no mail to this list due to too busy times at home......still
reading the list though...

I ran into a problem the other day, someone at a customer site did
something to their exchange 2000 server which resulted in some users not
being able to send or read their email. They get "can't open
item"messages and mail stays in the outbox.

Not all users are affected though.

I tried to export the mailboxes prior to going to kick the mail server
but this resulted in only errors even though admin has full mailbox
access......
Even ISINTEG seems to dislike the server these days.....it shutsdown
without even trying...

I think that they did something with spyware removal tools or online
virus scan tools on the server but they are not sure....no traces to be
found from either one on the server......

Any ideas are welcome, for I have really no clue whatsoever
anymore........tonight is last debugging eveing for me, after that last
exit is reinstallation of Exchange....

Hope any one can shed a light on this.....

Thanks in advance

Met vriendelijke groeten / With kind regards

Rob Beekmans
