-----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE----- Hash: SHA1 Hi there Grant One of our local telcos, Telus, has rolled out 1x service in most major centers in the province. More info on the service, including rates, can be found here: http://www.telusmobility.com/bc/1X/index.shtml The company I work for (http://www.thinapse.com) is a 1x reseller and I enjoy the use of a demo 1x card. I use this system almost exclusively for citrix and it works well most of the time. The network has more latency and lower bandwidth than my DSL connection at home, but response is still 'good enough' for me to work. I connect primarily to our systems at the office (DSL internet connection) and systems at various custmer sites (ISDN to E10 internet connection). I have heard of issues with encryption on the ICA stream but I have not seen them myself. I found that enabling 'Queue mouse movements and keystrokes' for the application set helped. Are you using the Sierra Wireless Air Cards? - ----- Chris Fraser chrisfraser@xxxxxxxxxx 604 638 8456 > -----Original Message----- > From: thin-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx > [mailto:thin-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx] On Behalf Of Grant Alexander > Sent: September 4, 2002 3:10 PM > To: 'thin@xxxxxxxxxxxxx' > Subject: [THIN] OT: Wireless ADSL/CDMA 1x and the Citrix ICA > > > > In New Zealand, out main cellular provider (Telecom NZ) has > released a product it is calling "Mobile JetStream" based on > CDMA technology.
