We have seen VM's crap out because the hidden domain machine password expires, but I haven't seen it happen for too many password changes- thanks Steve Greenberg Thin Client Computing 34522 N. It seemed that after a period of time when I would revert to a snapshot on that VM that I could no longer log in to the domain. It turns out the password on the computer account had changed too many times. To prevent this, I made the following change in the registry of that computer: [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\Netlogon\Parameters] "DisablePasswordChange"=dword:00000001 Anyway, hope this may help somebody else that might run into the same problem.
